Overview
About this event.
Building on the success of Alpha, United Tech Club hosted the second edition, U-TEC Hackathon Beta (β), from 4th to 6th December 2024 at United Technical College, Bharatpur-11, Chitwan. Over three days, tech-savvy students from across the country came together to work and collaborate on projects, often ones that were economically viable, developing technology that addressed specific challenges within a given theme.
Participants worked intensively, sometimes with little sleep, to complete their projects within the event’s time limits. The hackathon welcomed students of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced developers, regardless of their programming background.
Under the theme “Craft → Code → Conquer”, teams competed through intensive coding sessions, mentoring and final presentations. Every participant was recognized with a certificate, and the event was supported by a wide network of partners and sponsors.
